It looks intense, Lorster, and really violent. But then there's that Brad Pitt guy to balance out the ugliness!

Have you seen The Departed? It is another one that looks very intense, but my daughter was raving about it. She said the performances in it were amazing.
The only recent movies, and recent is relative, that I have seen are Little Miss Sunshine and Dreamgirls. I loved Little Miss Sunshine and liked Dreamgirls. But Dreamgirls is worth it just to watch Jennifer Hudson sing "You're Gonna Love Me!" Wow, what power she has as a singer!
I watched Babel and liked it too, but I couldn't figure out why they even had the story with the asian girl. Shouldn't the story line have focused on her dad, not her?
I loved the Guardian and the Illlusionist too. Have you seen those?
Will Smiths In the pursuit of happiness was good too. Nice to see him play a different role than usual. I also enjoyed the guardianMy DH and I both disliked Babel, three stories about bad choices going really, really bad. Kweenb, the Japanese mother used the rifle on herself, the Japanese dad was too involved with his money to care what was going on with his daughter, that's why it didn't focus on him. Don't watch it if you want to see Brad, he wasn't in it that much. I was surprised it got nominated for an Oscar. Little Miss Sunshine was great. Wild Hogs is funny, we saw that last weekend.
