My vacation officially begins in 12.5 hours!!!!!!! I get up at 3:15am (OMG that's way early) and head to the airport where we will be taking a charter flight to the riviera maya, about an hour south of Cancun in Mexico!!!!!!
We are staying at the Grand Palladium White Sands Resort and Spa, an all inclusive resort that has two sister resorts within walking distance. Well, walking for normals but we booked the Mayan suit, which is in a private section, only 12 total, they are individual cabanas with outdoor mayan showers and in room jacuzzi. It is in the adults only section and we have access to golf carts to get around the resort!!!!
I plan on being a total pool/beach bum and drinking my share of foo-foo drinks with umbrellas in them!! I do not know if we will even leave the resort but there are a few places we may like to go visit but we are waiting until we get there to see how we feel. If we just want to laze around and do nothing, that's just fine!!!
I am going to do my humira a day early so I don't have to worry about travelling with it and plan to increase my prednisone from 5 to 7.5 a day just as a precaution!

The beach where we were at was distoryed. It was so sad to see it.....and to smell it was even worse! We made the best of a bad situation; but it wasn't all it should have been. I hope to one day go back because I'm sure it's beautiful under different circumstances.

I'm so jealous!! I've so got spring fever and I'd settle for a few days at home....but no such luck right now. Maybe later this summmer.
