Hello came across this site whilst doing a search in England under Google.
I thought my life was just beginning as I have just had 40th Birthday when out of the blue was hit with Adult Onset Stills Disease. Have just come out of hospital after 7 weeks, with a period spent in Intensive Care too.
Is there anyone here that has Adult Onset Stills Disease and can tell me more about what my future is likely to hold as there seems to be so little information available.

Has anyone contacted you yet? I know someone else with adult-onset Stills, but she is usually at another board. What medications are you taking at the moment? It is important to see a good rheumy (rheumatologist) - fortunately we here in Oz and you folk in the UK seem to have far better health insce cover than those in the USA - so many I speak to cannot afford the meds. or sepcialists if they aren't working/aren't covered by the right insurance.

I have just stumbled on the sight after a google search.
I've just been diagnosed with AOSD, and I'm also from the UK. I'm 34, and finally got a diagnosis from a very good rheumatologist, and I'm starting steroids - 20mg.
It would be great to talk to others to share their insight.
