OMG I screwed up | Arthritis Information

My rd just called me.  She said "Did you inject the Humira?'  I said Yes I got it in the mail and it had been a week since my Enbrel.  She said YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO CHANGE BIOLOGICS FOR AT THE VERY LEAST TWO WEEKS !!!!!  She was very upset with me.  Maybe that is why I have had this horrible headache.  She is going to call back after consulting a colleague to see how concerned we should be. I had never heard that before. Don't panic yet. You only injected once so
I'm sure it will be ok. Let us know what the dr. says...

relax Roxy you probably caused no probelms other than a higher risk of infection for a week or two.

And don't worry about screwing up either.  Your doctor called you..wanna bet she never told you to wait and then suddenly she remembered.

Roxy, don't beat yourself up about this - memory problems come with Fibro and your doctor should know that.  She should be writing down instructions for you that she feels are important.  Request it next time!

Don't get yourself all worked up over it. It's going to be fine.

This was her fault....not yours. I absolutely agree with Buckeye. She forgot to tell you and then remembered and now is trying to put the blame back on you. BS! How many times has she called oyu in the past? No; I think this is totally her fault.

Again; don't get worked up about it. You've got enough to worry about. It's going to be fine. Nothing you can do about it now.

Roxy did the dr call back yet? Let us know what she says!Roxy, I"m sure she is trying to cover her butt. She is the one who did not
educate you. I'm sure it is going to be ok to have the two meds close
together. She called back.  Told me to call her if the headaches didn't go away, gave me a little more scolding and said to call her before next injection.  My headache is GONE and more news - stay tuned to next thread
