I love your ferrets Jenni. I don't think you can have them in Calif. I WANT ONE ! Can you house train them? Do they get along with dogs and cats
Last i knew ferrets were illegal in CA. There are LOTS of them in CA tho... the DNR says that they are wild animals and are afreaid that if they get out of the house they will hunt in packs and bring down the natural wildlife in the area ( like wild dogs and cats dont do that!)
ANyways.. yes they can be potty trained for the most part. I had ferrets for like 6 years and there were still misses. They do get along with other animals if they are introduced the right way... my sisnter had ferrets before me and the cat shard the litter pan! My friend has ferrets and a lab that get along, tho they are not really allowed toplay together, they jsut know not to bug each other. I love them and i have had many more besides these guys.. last ones passed and due to RA and lifestyle, i dont have time to properly care and clean for them so for now i am pet-less
Unicorn, You have to have a pet with ra. I don't know how I would get through all this without them to snuggle. A cat is a very low maintenance pet. I guess I am high maintenance
