Tingling in Arms, Legs? | Arthritis Information

Probably a stupid question, but does anyone else experience occasionally tingling (kind of like numbness) in your arms and legs due to RA?  I've started having it in one leg and my RA doc said that it was common with RA.

I was just curious as to how common it is.

inflammtion,as well as postional changes due to pain can cause pressure on the nerves so yes it can be common.

Just watch the symptoms and be sure and let your doctor know if the numbness and tingling become a regular or steady thing or if you lose any function due to the thingling and numbness

I wish I experienced it occasionally!  Almost every day I have some tingling or numbness in the hands, occasionally in the feet.

A month or so back, I would wake up every single morning with number hands and forearms and would have to wait for it to stop before I could get ready to go to work.

Now it's a little bit better.  But definitely talk to your doctor.  I'm taking Lyrica for nerve pain and it has helped immensely, although it hasn't entirely eliminated the symptoms.

I also take Lyrica. It does help.I too experience tingling. On a few occasions it got downright scary.my arms would get tingly in the begining of my diagnosis.  Since ive been on all the various meds it hasnt happenedI often have tingly forearms and hands as well as feet. It is RA related for me. The nerves get compressed by swelling. They do not like it one bit.
