BUT................. I got out of bed like I was normal this morning.  HUMIRA IS WORKING

My rd said to stay out of public places but I think I am going to go take the dogs for a walk with Brett

Thank you God.  Gratitude.  I swear - I feel so good.  My body actually works except for some kinks from doing NOTHING

Yah  I know, take it slow.................. I can already hear you.  I will, I will, I will

Don't move any furniture.....including fish tanks; and don't go on any long hikes. Also; don't over do the fantasy thing either. Just good old fashion sex should statisfy you both after all you've been through.

So glad to hear you are feeling better......but you aren't super woman despite how you feel this minute. Give yourself a chance to get things back under control before you go crazy.

Have fun!!

Im so glad that is has started working for you, ditto what Lovie said!

Lovie your adivise always makes me laugh. LOL you are awesome!

Have fun today! (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

YAY I can tell in your posts that you are feeling better.  yes have fun tonight ;)

Roxy,

I am so very, very happy for you! This really brings it home to me that I need to try something new. This is how it's supposed to be! Yea!!

FANTASTIC!  Yay!!!! Humira has been amazing for me, I'm really glad it's starting to work for you too.

I mentioned in a post last week that I was feeling really good after two shots, but that my knees and ankles hadn't really responded much yet. That is no longer the case!! I've been walking better every day this week, and yesterday afternoon I noticed that I was walking absolutely, totally pain free for the first time in what seems like forever. I felt so good last night that I didn't want to go to bed. I decided to go for a nice walk at 10 PM, and didn't wind up going to bed until 1:00AM. I get up at 5:30AM to go to work, so, I'm a little tired today ... it was worth it. It was wonderful to be walking normally instead of waddling like a duck. Words can't adequately describe the feeling. My legs are a little sore today, but it's a nice kind of sore, the kind that comes from exercise instead of RA. I'm kind of liking it!!

I'm noticing little things too. I can now easily reach across my body to grab my seat belt, instead of having to turn my entire body because of horrible stiffness in my shoulders. I can open heavy doors with my arms instead of having to push against them with my hips and body. The horrible costochondritis in my upper rib cage is completely gone!! I'm able to lift light weights (5-8 lbs) again, with no tendonitis payback the next day. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Hopefully, you'll begin experiencing the same wonderful results I have.

I took my third shot about an hour ago, and was actually looking forward to it. Coming from a former needlephobic, that's pretty amazing. Hopefully, the good feelings will keep on coming.

Humira has been working well for me too, though it took longer to really kick in.  Congratulations!!!

Roxy, I am so happy for you!!!!

Have great fun tonight

I wish I could take Humira. It's so good to hear you sound so encouraged! I know it's hard to take it slow when you feel good, but we all know you still need to.

I'm sending up prayers of thanksgiving for you.

Love & Hugs,

Nini

roxy. I am SO happy to read this!!! It's about time!

I am so happy for you!!!

I recorded not taking any meds in 1987 and started to use herbs and nature foods. Today I am free also from the disease. That is even greater

I woke this morning and AGAIN got out of bed like I did not have RA.  I have been smiling from ear to ear for over 24 hours.  I am going for a walk in the park this afternoon.

I put an ad on Craigs list and got four people to reply about forming a RA support group here.  They all seem very excited.  I am actually going to start participating in life again.

My stamina is not back but it is better.  I took pain pills twice yesterday instead of five times

Get this.  I made a pot roast last night.  It was too late to put it in oven but tonight I will have cooked dinner

I love you all but I got to go.  I got to take advantage of this

WARNING: Do not over do.

...and enjoy every moment!!!

I am happy for you toooooooo!
