There was a special health segment on the news here last night about Orencia for RA patients. Just wondering if anyone here has tried it. Benefits/cons? I guess I'm just looking for the magic bullet after the Enbrel quits. My hair is falling out by the handfuls from the Arava. I've invented very nice hairdo's (or hairdon'ts) to camoflouge the loss. Pain is minimal - -- - this week. Fatigue is unbelievably strong. I been on Orencia since Sept 06 I was doing fine with this drug no pain up until Dec 06. Starting Jan 07 My fingers and feet started to inflame again. I know the drug is still working otherwise I would be in dreadful pain. In conjuntion with this drug I'm on Methotrexate, Folic Acid. They are taken with the Orencia. Some days I feel great others I'm not myself. I do have to say it is working, but the long term effect on my body I do not know what is happening. Good luck in whatever decision you make. I'm glad I have something to help me move and go to work everyday.
