RA Sushi Site Down? | Arthritis Information

I know many on here also go the RA Sushi site, but I haven't been able to get on it since yesterday morning.  I keep getting this message: "44 Lost connection to MySQL server during query".

Crunchy, ArrisColwell, GrammaSkittles, or anyone else know what's going on?  Are you making changes to the site and that's why it's down?

Need my sushi!

It looks good now.

Uh-oh, not for me.  Still getting the same message.  I tried deleting my temporary files and entering it again, but same thing.

hmmm thats weird

We have had this problem once before.  Katie is much better at doing this stuff than I am but I think she is getting ready for work right now lol.  It is a combo of your computer and the server not matching up right.  The best suggestion I have right now is do what you did with dumping your files and then do a reboot of your computer.  I will send Katie an email with the error message and see what she says.

Thank you!  I'm at work right now, but we are closing shortly due to the storm, so I will try at home too.

OK, I'm home now and I can get it just fine (although I did have to login again).  Hope my office servers didn't change anything so that I can't get on there anymore.

I answered you on sushi, but should anyone read this and come across that message themselves, I will answer you here as well.

That is basically you server saying in a nice way "You can't be on that site...get back to work" LOL

The only way around that (and this only works sometimes) is to use a proxy server. www.megaproxy.com works well, but at times it transfers sites into read only, which means you wouldn't be able to log in, or post anything. But it's worth a shot!

Hope that helps! :)

From time to time I see posts and people are stating they are using an office computer. Like Wow!  Know for sure that if anyone at my DH's workplace is caught  using a company computer for personal use it's grounds for immediate dismissal. You all are so fortunate.  Take Care
