I have vitamin B12 deficiency and have started getting b12 shots from my doctor - I feel better but I would prefer an oral supplement - Does any one know if oral B12 is as effective as the shot?

Oral B12 is not absorbed into the body well - therefore is not effective. The best solution is either a vitamin B12 shot/ injection or the B12 Patch - transdermal vitamin b12. The B-12 Patch is highly effective and does not have the same absorption problems as oral b12. You can find more detail at their site www.b12patch.com
