Hi all, Just as I thought I was doing so well--I have a flare up like today. Trouble walking, the wrists, fingers hands are specially stiff. Dang, I thought I'd cruse through this. I'm still on 3x5 prednisones, and took the MTX last week, but I guess I need my doctor's helpful Remicade 'infusion' to get me feeling better. thank goodness it is at 11:00 AM! (I'll be lucky to drive, get out of the car and make it in there!)Take care,
Look at the positve side..you didn't flare until the day your remicade was due that means it is working a bit. If you always run out in the last couple of days they can push the dose up or move the infusion up a week..or both so don't despair
Hurts hope you are back to 'FeelinBetter' after the remicade. I always noticed the improvement the next morning when I got out of bed.Yes, they are increasing the MTX, going to move the next (from 8 weeks to ?), I didn't make it until the 'next' date this time. More MTX will help, and I'm used to it.Feeling terrific after the Remicade, and increased MTX (from 2 - 6)! down from 3-2 preds!
