I just started the first of 3 Synvisc injections and wondered if anyone who has gotten these injections had severe pain and swelling on the first try. Thanks for posting that Lev. I am going to investigate.Hi! I had a series of 5 Synvisc injections without any improvement. But I did not have any additional pain or swelling from the injs themselves. Eventually had total knee replacement, but that is another story. Good Luck, I am hoping you are one of the lucky ones! Pat
