Bump or bubble under tougue Help!! | Arthritis Information

I just recently notice a large bubble/bump under my tougue. Has anyone out there experience this. I started taking Methotrexate in Feb 06 along with orencia in Sept 06. I did not have this issue before then. It doesn't hurt but i can feel it and it's annoying. Has anyone out there had this problem. I'm just wondering if I should go see a oral doc and make sure it's not cancer.

I got the answer. I have a blocked sublingual gland under my tongue. I can either take predinisone/antibotics or have minor surgery to unblock the gland.

I have heard you can get 'sores' in your mouth but I've never had them. For sure, check with your doctor! Worrying is not good for RA or anything else, we are sure of that! Let us know.

I had bumps and swellings in and on my tounge a few weeks ago...They seemed to come and then go with my last try at a DMARD..(Arava). It seemed to be a side effect for me, but definitey mention it to a doctor. There can be so many reasons they might appear. It was really Strange feeling ...
