Just for the record, this is the Grand Palladium White Sands resort and spa in Mexico.  Its an all inclusive resort and is actually 4 resorts in one!  Loved the resort and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful no hassle vacation!  Except there is a LOT of walking and with the bridges its hard to use a wheelchair or walker but there are two trains and lots of golf carts to take you around to resort!
What a cute couple you are! And what a great vacation spot! It really looks like a nice place. I've never been to Mexico but I know many people who go every year. Thanks for sharing your pics! The resort looks fantastic Michele - am glad that you got to take some relaxing time out. Will has a lovely smile and your braids look cool - great when you have sore hands.
Thanks for sharing your pix with us.

Michele,

Thanks for sharing!  What an awesome vacation.  You and Will make a cute couple.  I have only been to Mexico one time and I was too young to appreciate it.  I love the scenery from your hotel window.

Wow, what beautiful pics. I would love to go to a warm weather vacation.
We are in Boston and Vermont right now and it is cold and rainy, not good.
I'm glad you had a good time. We all need that at times.Mexico is my favorite vacation spot.  I have always gone to the west coast (Puerta Vallarta).  But now, I think Cancun will be my next destination.  Thanks so much for sharing your photos.  Looks like a wonderful time.  I LOVE THE BUBBLE BATH PICS. Michele, you are adorable!  This is not an OT, it's just a diversion from the pain.  Thanks! What a beautiful place.. Awesome! I don't think i would ever get to mexico in this lifetime. To far away from home for me. Thanks for sharing, it's a lot of work uploading all those photos. Glad to see you were smiling the whole time!

Michele,

Great and colourful photos - thanks for sharing them!   Looks a great place for a vacation.

I am really glad you had a lovely holiday, you look so relaxed, it must have been good for the soul. The pictures are fabulous, it looks like a wonderful place. As i said before, we are looking at going there in August but its on hold at the moment due to my RA being very aggressive ( i DONT THINK i COULD DO THE 8 HOUR FLIGHT) but hopefully things will settle down as I am itching to go.

Great pictures, Michele!  Looks like you both had a wonderful time...thanks for sharing!

Brings back a lot of memories for me. Those Lizards are a trip aren't they? I was so shocked the first time one crossed my path. I wasn't expecting something that you only see in a cage here in the US to be running wild there. It was really cool.

Thanks everyone, it really was lovely!  Luckily, we only live about 30 minutes from the detroit airport and it was about a 3.5 hour flight.  I had taken lots of pain pills and a xanax and got through it relatively ok.  The daily bubble baths were the best for me.  We have a little bitty tub at my house, not big enough for me at all and my body felt so much better after swimming in the salt water and soaking in the tub.  I just want to run away back there......

I had my third round with the vampires this morning, another 4 sticks, so thats like 16 in all since Friday.  I am black and blue from shoulders to fingers.  They needed 17 tubes of blood but only got 9.  I feel weak, tired, I am hurting and can't keep anything in, either throwing it up from the nausea or its coming out the other end at high velocity.  To make matters that much worse, I am at work.  I figured the bills and such and we would lose the house if I stopped working.  This new doctor better start doing something soon.
