How many of you look in a mirror at anytime thru the day?

I am not a mirror person but I am proud to say when I do I think "You look great for 51".  That is a good feeling.  I rarely wear make up and never do my hair - I just like me.  LOL  I am grateful that my self esteem is intact.  There has definitely been times during this illness that I felt ugly

As for myself I do not look in mirrors, just do not like it. Now hubby he is in love with himself

The prednisone 'moon face' is not great to look at, so I just put on make-up and try not to dwell on 'the looks' , at least I don't hurt anymore. I'm working on everything including getting off of Pred.

My maternal/paternal grandparents had only two mirrors in their homes. One in the bathroom and the other in their bedroom. In our home we had only two mirrors also. One in the bathroom and the other in my parents room. We grew up with this philosophy: If God intended for you to gaze upon yourself you would have been born with a mirror in your hand. Guess that's why to this day I look into a mirror only when it's necessary.  Take Care

I look in the mirror when I'm putting my makeup on in the morning before work or church and that's it.  I never bother with mirrors on Saturdays!  The office restroom has a mirror in front of the sinks, so it's impossible to avoid.  But other than a quick look as I'm drying my hands, to make sure my skirt isn't tucked into my pantyhose in the back, I don't linger...

Pull my finger... let it linger LMAO!!!

Sorry, sorry.... *shakes head at self*  But I just had to say it. I do not even know where I got that phrase from anyways... a movie maybe or father in-law?! *shrugs shoulders*

here is sit broken hearted, thought i sh*t but only farted LMAO sorry had to share that one w/ everyone.. ITS JOONIES FAULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT; I do look in them often. Hell; I even have one in my desk drawer......but that's to check my nose and teeth just to make sure there's nothing there that shouldn't be

Guess I'm the lone ranger in this one, huh?

Only once - when I do my hair and makeup after getting up in the AM. Other than that, unless I've been caught in rain, or wind, I don't really look. Maybe I should, but it's always seemed to be a waste of time to me. I have bigger things on my agenda than seeing if my lipstick has faded.....ya know? Umm twice a day when I brush my teeth.  If I am going somewhere then I make a quick check in the full length mirror to make sure I didn't dork myself out somehow.  But usually I don't look at meself from the neck down lol.

You know those magnifying mirrors? Don't get one. I repeat. Do not get one.I got one that magnified 10x's. OMG!!! It used to be that if the lighting wasn't too bright when I looked in a mirror then I could pretend that I wasn't 52. You know how people will say "Oh, you don't look (your age)? Well, when I hear that now I think bull-pucky, I know EXACTLY how old I look!

Mirrors? Never have liked them.

Yes I look in mirrors. I shouldn't lookI always look in mirrors and try to look as good as I can.  After all, other people have to look at me.  I just think it's a matter of respect for myself.  I would not want my hubby or children's friends seeing me look untidy, as I feel that it would reflect on them.  It's all a matter of pride in myself and the people that I love.

LOL.  My husband works 2nd shift and would probably drop from surprise if I had make up on and my hair done that late when he gets home from work lol.  I do get a shower done before he gets home tho.  Sometimes I wait for him to get home and we conserve water

I will put stuff in my hair to keep it calm (that's a joke) when I go out to the grocery or run errands with him.  But very rarely make up.  I guess it comes from being such a jock for so many years.  Runny sweaty make up is just not appealing when you are playing sports lol.

I just don't look in them because I'm too busy. I don't put on enough make up for it to matter when it finally fades. I'm all natural baby. LOL And my hair is always either down, or in a pony tail, and I've gotten REALLY good at putting it up without a mirror. It's not like I get all nappy and crazy looking without a mirror. I don't DO enough for it all to fall apart through out the day. Make sense? And I'm cute anyway. God wanted me to look like this, so be it! LOL If I look funny to someone, I figure the big man's got a good sense of humor. Hahahaha
