Thanks for starting this Katie - I think it is very helpful to have photos to compare. I've been sitting here holding my hands up to the computer monitor - if anyone saw me they would think I'm nuts!
So I'm going to post my osteoarthritis hands for others to see and compare:
On this one you can see the knuckles of the pointer and middle finger are bigger and my fingers don't come together, and you can also see the bump and twisting of my pinkie.
Please ignore the desperate need for a manicure, LOL!

Had to respond to your post. OA in your hands isn't fun. I have it in mine and my fingers aren't straight. They are turning and are painful if I overdo. I also have OA in my wrists and my left wrist has a deform joint on the outer pinky side. Have had surgery done on my left hand and I hope that I can control the OA with my meds.

Sorry to hear about your surgery, that had to be painful and difficult to deal with during the recovery period.
It still amazes me when I look at my hands to see how they have changed - I'm growing knots and bumps on them like some gnarly old tree! Guess I'll have to give up my dreams of being a hand model - unless it's for a commercial for arthritis meds,
(though...........you really could have RA in your hands too.....ya know. Just sayin.)
You know, even with arthritis you guys still have nice looking hands. I'm not saying it just to be nice. My hands have huge veins and my knuckles are huge and bony. It could be that when you copy the url over from photobucket into the form here that it added the http part that is already there on the form here where you paste the url from photobucket.

How can everyone stand to wear their wedding bands? I can't wear mine anymore it drives me nuts!I'm not wearing mine, I'm wearing my great aunts.
