Enbrel....do or don’t if we want kids? | Arthritis Information

Hello. This is my first time on a message board so please bear with me. I'm 30 and female.

I have had psoriasis (moderate to severe) practically my whole life and now have developed slight psoriatic arthritis. My dermatologist has suggested that I consider Enbrel.  The thing no one seems to be able to answer is what effect it will have on conceiving a child at some point in the future. I just got married a few months ago so we're not ready yet, but in about 6-8 months, it's fair game (I'm not gettin' any younger

I have done hours of research on this, I've called Enliven, asked my gynecologist and dermatologist an no one can give me one stich of info. My psoriasis and p.a. are somewhat manageable right now but I'd really like it to be significantly better and I think this medication can help...but I don't want to use it if it can inhibit us from being able to conceive.

I'm wondering if there are any women out there...or men who know women out there...who have or have not had trouble conceiving while using Enbrel.  I'm interested in experiences...as well as info on if it was taken during pregnancy.

Thanks for anything you can provide! I'm desperate to find some info!!
