Has anyone tried eating 75% or more RAW?  I'm just wondering if it had any health benefits for RA?

I'm thinking about it and was wondering if anyone had gone down that road before?  I don't know if I can do it being on Pred, I'd be eating a whole orchard of oranges daily

Thanks,

Phatgirl

There's a girl I work with who is doing this. She has no illnesses, it was just something she wanted to try as a diet.

She hates it. LOL I don't know why she's still doing it. All she's done is complain about it. *shrugs*

I have no clue!
I don't have a raw diet but sometimes I eat at a raw food restaurant and it
can be good. They have raw pies and everything! Also, every now and then I
will suddenly realise I only ate raw food that day. I just wanted to post to say
raw grated beets are really good on salads.

Thanks,

It takes quite a committment to do RAW.  I'm not sure if I'm up to it.

If I take the plunge, I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi, good question. I had some neighbors years ago who swore by all 'raw' foods. They were extremely healthy people! They ran marathons, their children were runners, and they were bright, 'alive' people. Probably the more 'natural, raw, organic (?) foods we can eat the better. Some people only eat organic.  I guess we need to look around and spot the people who 'look healthy' and copy them! Knowing, of course, we must also 'deal' with this disease.
