Graduated!!! | Arthritis Information

I did it! I graduated from my physical therapy today for the neuropathy and then the knee surgery. I have real knees again. I'm starting to walk places.

I more excited about my knee job than some women would be about their boob job and I can show off my knees any time I want.

This is like a miracle for me. No cane. No walker. No wheelchair.

Now if I can keep the neuropathy at bay and the exercises going, this can be a real life changer for me.

I went for a walk in the moonlight last night. Oh, how I have ached for that. It was short. But who cares. I did it!

Hahaha - It's gonna be those chipndales (sp) that Liz was talking about!!! Well then. You know I only wear my glasses when I read. Like when I want smaller things to look bigger. So, should I bring them? Never mind...I'm very happy for you, Deanna.

Short walks are great to start!!! Slowly build up!!

You are a fighter Deanna and by golly you have won this one!  And what a nice prize...a walk in the moonlight!  Keep it up!

That's truly incredible news, Deanna, congratulations!. It makes all the "nasty" stuff that's been appearing on this board pale into insignifence.

Here's hoping you now get the neuropathy under control as well.

Best wishes - Des.

Happy for you, Deanna!!! WOOHOO!! Here's to walking in the moonlite!!

I hope you continue to improve, but I am sure you will have some days you will feel like you are backsliding... just do not believe it and you will do GREAT!!

Onwards and upwards Deanna - great news, am so happy for you.Congratulations! Hopefully, things can only get better!
Am at a loss for words in describing how happy I am for you!!

Like pincushion I shall refrain from bursting (attempting) into a song. A joyous sounding song it wouldn't be! How do I know this?? Well, let me give a couple of examples: 1. Birds are dead before they hit the ground or topple from a tree branch; 2. A toasty warm shower instantly becomes an ice shower; 3. Wet paint refuses to dry; 4. A hot summer day instantly becomes a bone-breaking cold winter day; 5. A summer day with rain falling softly instantly becomes a hail storm, etc.

Rather than burst into song I'll pray for you're good fortune and continuing progress.  Take Care

Marvellous news Deanna, I'm really pleased for you
