I went to A&E Last night ( ER) As my leg was really painfull and swollen, it also came up in a huge bruise but I hadnt hit it at all. The dr at A&E didnt think it was a clot and refered me to my own GP this morning. I have just come from his office and he thinks it is phlebitis(inflamation of the veins) apparently very common with RA. I have to have the leg scanned just to be sure so i'm off to the hospital now.
I will keep you posted as it might help anyone else with the same symptoms DEANNA ADVICE PLEASE!!!

I did wonder about the bruises in your photo but as you didn't say how you got them I didn't like to ask. You might have been belly sliding with the cat
I thought phlebitis was more to do with varicous veins? I need to google

I told hubby that I cant do the pictures anymore, my "lovely" legs are now posted in the USA .Thats a frightning thought for all you who are about to eat breakfast
