I wonder if I can get the guys from the VFD, across the road to come clean my house for me or at least sweep and mop. They do not do anything except sit there and watch TV. And when the phone rings over there you can here it all the way over here, and there are like 4 of them that just sit there and watch TV and talk and let the phone ring FOREVER before the answer it. Oh... and I forgot get into fist fights with the county commissioner. Yeah... I say community service for the convicted should be helping me move and tidy up my new house

So that makes you feel real safe doesnt it? when they sit there and dont answer the phone. Someones house could be burning down!!!!! ha. Amazing what our Civil Servants do and dont do. I have many friends on the Fire Department and it is not like that AT ALL here. They have Captains at each station and those firemen jump when the phone rings. I have seen it and it is amazing!! Maybe you should offer to gimp yourself over there and answer the phone since they cannot seem to get to it. Maybe that will give them a hint. Doubt it but could be worth a try!!!hahaha... I think they get their fire calls on walkie talkie... not too sure though. But there are a many of times that phone over there is ringing and ringing and ringing and no one answers it. And most probably because the "captian" is across the street at the water department where he works. Who knows... I just know, this even if they get a call for a fire and they speed pass the house to get the fire truck, the house still burns down, they are a bunch of old men, who no longer work because they are retired or have enough money to not work.
And it was the VFD captain that got punched by the county commissioner... hahahaaa. It was funny... it made front page news on 3 different news papers and was front page news 3 times. HAHAHAA!! Good thing we just became a town, we use to be a community.
