Left knee, off to the side. Makes me limp when I walk, but when I try to
press on that area, no pain. Symptomatic? I'm still waiting on my blood
results
My guess is that you are hurting deep within the joint. So deep that pressing on the outside makes no impact, maybe???

Mine's in my left knee. Started up again after taking MTX yesterday, now I'm confused. 'The Doctor' is having a 2 week vacation so I can't yell at him or his staff . Not answering the phone!! So, until the 9th I'm Out of Luck to have someone explain this. Will just go back to 15 prednisones tomorrow if I don't feel better. Dang....trying to get of this pred. (I heard yesterday it ate away someone's hip!! Ugh.

Same here. I keep having pain in the inside and outside of my left knee when I walk, but there is no pain when pushing on it. My knees continually have weird things going on with them. (Since I started AP it's the muscle above the knee that is whacko). Sometimes if the pain gets bad I go to PT and get my knee cap duct taped back into postion which helps with the pain, but as soon as I take the duct tape off the pain returns. Such is medicine in these, our modern times. PS....I forgot to ask---have you tried leeches?
