Hubby got an invitation in the mail today for his 10 year high school reunion. It is going to be a 2 day event. And well, hubby said he was not going to his reunion, as he does not care for anyone he graduated with and still does not care for them. I am going to make him go. He might be glad he did go when I make him go
My high school reunion is next year, not sure if anyone is going to make it happen, but I will have been graduated for 10 years next year.
Hey maybe if I make him go, hubby can see what the girl he was afraid to ask out looks like now. I mean I asked hubby to go out with me when we were in high school, hubby would have been girlfriendless throughout high school if it was not for me, because he is afraid of rejection and use to be shy, but he has come a long way from being shy... now I just wish he would go back into his shy-shell
But I'm sure they've all changed a lot!
If anyone forced me to go to mine, I'll eat their face.
Well, now that hubby read the invitation and there is a fee to attend he said NO WAY IN HELL AM I GOING TO PAY TO SEE PEOPLE I COULD CARELESS ABOUT!!!
Yeah... so I guess there is not going now. It is only for the both of us to go. *sigh shrugs shoulders*
I probably will not go to mine either. I mean I did cut ties with all 3 of my high school friends I had. I only have one friend I just recently got back to talking with over the internet, but she is too busy for me. So... I guess hubby is going to be my best friend. Sad, he is not a very good friend, because he wants to be "friends with benefits" LMAO!!!!
I will be 21 years out of high school this June. Danny will be 26. Wow time flies. Neither of us have ever gone to a high school reunion. I guess I like leaving the past as the past and not revisiting it. Ummm, 30 something years out and I have never gone to one. I moved about 2500 miles away soon after and have no contact with anyone.Gosh, you guys are party poopers. I went to my 10th and 25th, took my DH to the first and our girls to the 2nd. I'm not in contact with any of the friends I graduated with in 1972, but it was fun to catch up. Everybody was really shocked that I had had kids, I guess I told everybody I'd never have children (I'd been diabetic since I was 12). My how things can change and as my DH likes to say, "Never say never."

I went to both my 10 and 20th reunion. I had a blast it was fun to see everyone. One girl had triplets. I went with my sister who is a couple of years younger than me. We had all the same friends.
My hubbie is the same way as Kelsaymommy's. He didn't want to see them then and certainly not now. The poor guy's high school sweetheart cheated on him with his then best friend.
Her loss....my gain
Her loss... your gain. How cute that was
