Our daughter gave birth to a beautiful little princess today. She has been in
labor for two days. The baby is in NICU as she aspirated a large amount of
muconium prior to her birth and it is all throughout her lungs. She is
absolutely beautiful and we expect her to be home within a week. I'm sorry
to spread joy when so many of you are having a hard time right now. But I
did want to share and I will get a pic on here if I can figure out how to do
that. OH and her name is Kendall Elaine and she weighed 7 lbs and is 19.5
inches long. I'm so excited.

Well big congratulations!!!! It is always wonderful news to hear about new babies! It always lifts your mood and places a smil eon your face.

My sisters' new grandbaby will be born in September,it is something to look forward to.

Congrats Granny Lorster.   Never be afraid to share joy - especially that of a new baby.   We all luv em!!  I have 3 beautiful grandchildren and they are a delight to me!!  You will be very pleased to have your daughter and baby home - then you can go straight back into mother mode.  An amazing feeling!!

When my daughter was born -(another long labour) the same thing happened - filled up with mucous.  It wasn't long before I had her to myself!!!

Take care and Go luvum kids!!
I am so pleased for you Lorster and cant wait until I am a grandmother.   You sound so happy so dont apologise, it is a wonderfully happy occasion for you.

Never be afraid to share good news. Never.

Congratulations!! Wonderful news! That is great congrats GrammaLorster!!!  What wonderful bright news!!!!  New babies are so awesome!!!  Oh! Such wonderful news! A baby girl! What fun you will have with her. I'm so happy for all of you. Oh yes thank you for reminding me Katie about it being a gma's job to spoil.  I forgot to school Lorster in the three S's of being a gma.

Spoil, Sugar, Send home.  That is the motto I live by lol.

So instead of the Easter Bunny we have an Easter Baby! have fun singing lullabies!

I am so happy for you Lorster!  Enjoy every moment of being a grandmother!

Easter and springtime will forever be special for your family now!

Tell your daughter I love the name she has chosen - it is beautiful!

Enjoy all that a baby brings  -  Babies come with such wonderful sounds, the gurgles and coos, and I have to admit I think even the cries are precious.  Oh and the smell of baby powder, and the joy when you get that toothless wide mouth smile, looking up at you with such glee and excitement, kicking and bouncing!

Share as much as you can with us - we want to live through you!

Congratulations, Lorster! I am just delighted for you.

I love it when a new baby is born in my family... they are just so sweet and cuddly... until they get to be about 2 years old, then it is a mad house and you do not know if you are going left, right, up, down, backwards, forwards, or straight ahead. Yeah, I have a 2 year old son...

I know you will spoil her rotten, all granny's do

Ther is nothing on earth like a granddaughter! Is this your first?

Little granddaughters are so full of love! They want to share all the wonders they are seeing for the first time. And you will want to show her new wonders! You will find joy in everything she does, and each little sound or movement.

I have two granddaughters: the oldest is 17 years and the other is 2.

I was sure ready for another by the time the second was born! I love both my daughters with all my heart, but there's just a special love you have for grand-kids!

Enjoy your new little miracle!

Hugs to all,

Nini
