I opened by kitchen door this morning to see why the dogs were barking and in my laundry was a ferrett( HELP!!) I am petrified of mice, rats, hamsters so I was SCARED of this..........I screamed so loud but not as loud as my neighbour

So how did you get the ferrett out of your laundry?

Oh sorry...just read your post again...the owner came and got them

I'm an animal lover and we even have a pet rat, but that would have startled me!

We should write a screenplay - "INVASION OF THE TOILET FERRETS"!  It is surely as good as some of the horror movie plots out there!

Oh, the lead ferret should be named "LOO-CY"

I would have been STOKED. I love ferretts!! Hahahahah Sorry it scared you though! I WOULD HAVE SAVED YOU!!!

Thanks Katie i'm glad someone would have saved me , my 18 year old screamed burst into tears and jumped up on the kitchen table, my golden retriever cried even louder and went under the kitchen table, our west highland terrier was like "let me at it" and running circles round the table . I was RA free for 10 seconds as I ran out that laundry. Hey this could be a new cure for RA scary animals to make you run

"A new RA cure hits the shelves! SCARE YOURSELF INTO REMISSION!!"

Hahahahaha

I wanted to have a ferret, but then my DD's class had one in their room for awhile and they smell really bad. The girl who owned it had to clean the cage as soon as it relieved itself. At least yours were someone's pets and not wild. One time a friend of ours had a wild squirrel climb through her septic system and end up in the toilet where the lid was shut. She lifted the lid and had a wild squirrel running around in her bathroom.

Mmmmmmm when I was with my first long term b/f we lived in a DUMP of an apartment. (ew) There was a hole in the bathroom wall.....so you had to keep the door closed at all times, and you did not want to pee at night.......why? Cause the squirrels lived in the bathroom at night. :) HOW CHARMING.

Yes, he thought this was an acceptable living environment.......you can imagine where the relationship when wrong. LOL!  What a story!  LOO-CY!  Leave to Karen to think of that lol.  We have little animals too.  Our chinchilla can break out if you do not lock her cage just right.  She did get out one night and I was walking around the house like a mad woman looking for this small rat/rabbit looking thing that will hide anywhere.  I even laid out sunflower seeds to see if she would come of where I THOUGHT she was hiding.  She was not hiding where I thought.  When I got up the next morning to grab some juice out of the fridge...out shot this little bundle of fur from under my fridge and back in her cage!!!!  URG!!!I got such a visual of you on the loo trying to defend yourself against a poor, innocent ferret with a toilet brush. Oh honey, if we only had pictures of that one.

I imagine you and your neighbors will talking about that one for some time to come.
