I've had a hard time finding elec.can openers that work? The ones I got wouldn't hole the can, the lid didn't get completely cut, or something went wrong. Please tell me a good brand that works.  Also, left over refrigerator containers?? I need some with a good 'pull up' tab. Any suggestions?

Does anyone have a suggestion?

When I was first dx'ed with RA I got so frustrated because I couldn't open cans with a manual can opener. My parents bought me one of those cordless Black & Decker rechargable can openers. I've had it about 12 years now I guess and I really love it. Real easy to use and takes up very little counter space unlike those old fashion ones.

There's tons of these type on the market now. I can't say which ones of those are good; but I do love the B&D one.

I love my Krups opener..I find it easy to use even with flaring hands.  It also opens those cans with pull tabs on tops I love my One Touch.  You just set it on a can and push the button then can go do something else.

Sara, the best can opener that I've found is the one touch. It takes up no counter space as it can be stored in the drawer. You can find them in Target, Kohl's, and most major chains.

As far as containers for leftovers, I get the Glad Disp. ones. My grip is very poor and they're easy to use. Plus the lids lock when storing. I have no trouble griping the tab to pull off the lid. I don't have to fight with the lid to close it either.

Hope that this helps.

I can't work my regular can opener anymore and got the one touch. I love it. I'm going to get one for my mom now.
