I keep buying storage containers for left overs and then I can't get the lid off!! does anyone know of a brand that works for us with weak hands?
sarah
I dont buy storage containers anymore for leftovers. I use baggies...the ziplock kind that is friendly to my hands. Sarah, I don't know what the butter comes in - in USA - but here it comes in a neat throwaway 375g rectangular tub. Very easy to open and close. Easier for me than the Glad Disposables, those I find quite difficult.
I have been using the butter boxes for a long time now for freezing and storing small quantities (1 good or 2 small servings) of leftovers. Especially good when I make a good big pan of soup or casserole.
I only have a small freezer, and because you can stack them, they don't take up much room in the freezer. I just write on the top with a laundry marker what is in them. I re-use them over and over - they stand up very well.
Hope you find somethig that suits you.
