I need SOMETHING for my hands. Deanna has suggested compression gloves, and Im gonna go for it.

But what kind? My wrists and biggest knuckles give me the most trouble - but the rest of my finger hurts TOO, just not as often.

Here's what walmart has:

Is this good enough? Or should I be looking for something with longer fingers?

Really? Nobody??? I could really use some advice here. Sorry Sis..I dont know of anything to reccomend for you. My mom snips the finger tips out of regular stretchy glove to keep her hands warm when she is typing at work. But that doesnt offer "compression". I dont think you want something too tight if you are having swelling. What about those spandex bicycling gloves? Walmart or a sporting goods store may be the best place to start. Just go try a bunch on.Well this idea started on another thread about those of us who use the computer a lot, and compression gloves were recommended. I'm so game for anything at this point, ya know? I just don't wanna waste my money! Katie - do you have a medical supply store near you??  That is where I bought mine from.  The people there helped me a lot finding the right style, material, etc. for me.  Hugs and good vibes. No, not that I know of. Which is weird, seeing that THIS IS FLORIDA.

Here is a link to a few different types...

Why thank you redneck. :) I aprecimacate it. why dont ya order up  sum o dem com-press-er glove thing-a-ma-jigs right fast then (spits) they shore is purdy!Darlin'! My friend who is a nurse gave me some and I love them.  I thought i'd grab a second pair from wallyworld, the ones you sent the link to but they suck.  Don't waste your money there....get to a medical supply place and buy the real ones.  Worth the cashola...........I have been looking for some as well but haven't been able to find them at pharmacies or wallyworld, haven't checked a medical supply store yet. In the meantime, I bought a pair of .99 moisture gloves at a CVS pharmacy.  They are a cotton/jersey type of material.  They sell them to be used after putting moisturizer on your hands to keep the moisture in.  However, I find the constant light pressure they do provide to be comforting and it has helped my swelling a little bit.  I still wrap my wrist during the day as they don't give my wrists enough support and wear my wrist splint over them at night.

If anyone else finds a link to ones that they do like, I would be interested.
