Rituxan | Arthritis Information

Forgive me if I have asked this before. I have a memory like a sieve.

Is anyone on this board on Rituxan? I am on my second round. It has been 2 weeks since my 4th dose (2 infusions the first go round and 2 this time) and I am feeling no relief at all, in fact, I am having more pain in my hands and also, numbness in my left arm from my elbow to the tip of my little finger. I called the Rituxan hotline and asked if they had anyone else complain of numbness/tingling in the same area and they said no, then sent me a form to fill out so they can report it.

Any experience at all will be of help. Last time I got about 3 good months out of 6.

I am bumping this as I am in a lot of pain and would really appreciate any help I can get.crispy - at the risk of people jumping me for this, I'm gonna give you another message board link LOL But only because they JUST started a thread about this very med.

Hi crispy, I had my first round of Rituxan the first part of Dec. It took about 3 1/2 months before I notice any help in relieving my symptoms, I seemed worse off at first. For about the last month I've been feeling the best I have since being diagnosed. I have been having a problem with numbness on the outer part of left thigh...thinking it might be from lower back issues.

That is pretty much the same experience I had in the first round Joy. Once it kicked in I felt much better, but it took about 3 months. I was hoping this time round it would be sooner and maybe it will be. Its only been about 2 weeks so I guess I just have to be patient.

I will check out Rheumerweb, Katie, I have been there before so it won't be hard for me to find.
