anyone ever get bad headaches from mtx? i have never before had a headache this bad. I think it is from my sinuses... anyone else experience this problem? I haven't taken it, but if I remember correctly from reading other posts, yes, a headache is common with the MTX. If it's EXCRUCIATING you probably want to call your doctor about it. Do migraine pills knock it out for you?
Yes, I take mtx on Thursday afternoon and I used to wake up every Saturday
morning with a terrible headache. Now I only have them about half the time.
Drinking A LOT of water on Friday seems to help.
katie, i never had problems with headaches before, never took migraine medicine. I sure hope this isnt a side effect of mtx? I will increase my water. I am new to mtx. so i dont really know what other meds i can take. i just took a sudefeed, becasue i really think it is my sinuses. I hope it doesnt interact with mtx. or prednisone.

You should definately phone your pharmacist and ask if sudafed isoh sh*t i took it a half hour ago! i dont think it has asprin in it. ill keep you informed if i die!

Yes, aspirin and mtx mixed together are seriously harmful to the liver. LOL I think you'll be fine! You just don't want to make a habit of it, as it would be strenuous on your liver. - Did I spell strenuous right???I GET HEADACHES ALL THE TIME FROM MTX AND TAKE EXCEDRIN FOR MIGRAIN.
