Thanks for posting this - it was very interesting.  Hugs and good vibes.What I find particularly interesting about it is how it ties into the whole
infection theory, (which is that RA is an allergic reaction to some pathogen
released by mycoplasmas in your body tissues).

Thanks for the article - it is fascinating.  Months ago we had a discussion about the commonality of allergies and auto-immune and folks were divided about it.  My personal feeling is that it is all interrelated and when we can finally understand the process we can find a cure.

My opinion, from a layman's point of view admittedly, is that what triggers our auto-immune responses can vary from person to person, just as allergies do.  And that your genetic make-up is important in your likelihood of developing an overactive immune system or allergies.
