I will be a grandma any day now. I had so much fun making this quilt and teddy bear. Thinkthinn39183.2062731481

How exciting for you!!  Can't wait to see pics of your grandbaby!

Oh, you made those??  WOW!!  Nice work!!

I had a shower for my son and his wife on March 4th  and all the pictures came out with the wrong date on them. I actually didnt want the date on them but I have to find my instruction book to change the date.
I'm not too mechanical but I like to sew.
Thanks

Let us know all the details!!  How exciting!  I have another grandbaby coming in December.  That quilt and teddy bear are awesome!  Great work!  You have a great talent.  And I take it you all know it is a girl lol.

Grandkids are the best!!  I love being a gramma.

Keep us posted!

Congratulations!  I'll bet you are sitting there jumping with excitement everytime the phone rings!

Your baby quilt is absolutely beautiful - and something that will be treasured and passed down for generations.  What a lovely gift of love to give to your grandchild.

OH my!!!! That is sooooo beautiful!!!! How excited you must be!!!!

Did you sew that all by machine or hand or both??? That is just simply gorgeous!!

Your quilt and teddy are the most beautiful gifts for your grandchild. You are going to have so much fun.I'm just thankful I can do it by machine. I know some people quilt by hand but it would take me years and I like to do so many other things.

I had so much fun with the matching t-bear. It was not too hard. It was a simplicity pattern.
Awwww ANOTHER BABY! Wheeee it's baby season!

Were they having a sale somewhere or what?
I can't get overhow pretty that is. I bought a book on how to quilt a few months ago...but it is still sitting on the shelf!!!! I moved in my home 3 years ago and I have fabric sitting everywhere for drapes, but none up yet!!! I am so bad!! Good thing I live in the woods, only the deer and squirrel and peek through the windows

thinkthin,

Up until two years ago I was a quilt making maniac! And I hand quilted almost everything! I miss it so much...sigh...but I have 25 years of quilts to show for it. Looking at your quilt makes me think that I can at least start sewing on the machine again, maybe send them out to be machine quilted or something. Thanks for sharing. It's beautiful!

My vote is for the baby to come on the 20th.  2nd daughters bday lol.  I cant believe you said that. That is the day I told everyone I thought the baby would come!!! It's that Illinois connection we have LOL.
" CONGRATULATIONS "  - There really aren't too many events that are as exciting as the birth of a new grandchild!!

Your quilting skills are extraordinary and the teddy bear is soooooooo adorable.... Since the birth of our first granddaughter, who is now four-years old,  I have been very involved with sewing Barbie Doll clothes.   If  you're going to make them cute  you  put  a whole lot of time into them.  When I see the excitement on her face as she puts them on her dolls the frustrations of getting them just right is worth it.  Again, "Congratulations Grammy."

The quilt and teddy bear are really pretty and I know took a lot of work. I am sure your new granddaughter will just love them, when she gets a 1 years old.

My MIL crochets, and she crochets a blanket for each of her grandbabies before they are born. My son & daughter both carried around their blankie when they were about 1. It was their most favorite blankie.

Be sure to let us know when she is born

I know I'm not ready for that.......LOL 2 more years AT LEAST.

Ok,so its Joonies turn then
