Ok...fess up....who ticked off Mother Nature while it was her time of the month.

I am expecting 8-10 inches of heavy wet snow by tomorrow.  Winds 20mph and gusting higher than that.  This is starting off as a nice cold rain...changing to sleet and freezing rain then changing to rain/snow mix (snain?) then over to all heavy wet snow.  Ummm isn't it spring?  Did I miss something here?  Did I fall asleep that long and wake up and it is December?

On the brighter side.  Mebbe some 4x4 action in the snow just one more time this year.  I do have to go out tomorrow morning to the doc for my daughter lol.  Hmmm....that big ole empty spot in the back of my Walgreens is looking gooooooooooooooood.  We have a bird who made a nest a week and a half ago on top our gas meter. I cant believe she is still their.

Have fun on your 4X4.

Yeah it is nuts.  I can hardly move.  Typing is sloooooooooow and oh my the typos lol.

We lived in the northwest burbs for awhile before we moved to AZ.  We were in Rockford.  Well not Rockford exactly because the schools were awful lol.  But close enuf and people have never heard of my tiny town and go huh when I tell them lol.  Our best friend is still back in Rockford and we go down there when we can.

Thinkthinn, I'm in NW subs with you! LOL!!!! My daughter is supposed to go to the Cubs game today. Ah!! it is a lovely day for a ballgame!!!

My doggies just looked at me this morning when I tried to get them to go out!!! It is a LOVELY day!

Gramma, I hope yours stops earlier than expect so it clears before you and your daughter have to trekto the doctors tomorrow!!!

Maybe they will cancel the game. It dosent matter much now does it. Maybe when they get a new owner things will look better for them. Next year it will be 100 years since they won the world series.

I know. My husband is such a fan!!! We went to the homeopener on Monday. He had never been to a home opener in his life!!! It was so fun to see him enjoy himself!!! It was cold Monday, but nothing like this!!Yeah ya know, it's not much better down here in FL - it POOOUURREEEDDD last night, and its supposed to storm like mad today. And DAMN can I feel it. *sigh*

Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Okay I feel a little better. LOL

Katie I need Florida Info. My kids want to go to Disneyland in August, is it hot then and will I cope with how hot it gets? Is this weird weather season ( hurricanes, tornado's etc.) Any ideas if hotels are best or do we rent out a villa..........HELP

OMG what is going on here in IL?????? im in the western burbs and not soposed to get as much snow as you Liz but there is snow on the ground none the less.  Kelsay is thrilled, but her momma sure aint.  They might cancel the cubs game if it keeps up like this Daisy.  Where about in the nw burbs are you?  Wow there are alot of Illinoisians here :D  Kelsay just got back monday from Ohio and they had about 8 inches as of Sat so im sure they are gonnna get what you are soposed to get Liz...I HATE SNOW!!!LOL YAY!! SOMETHING I'M SMART AT!!

Ummmmmmm in August? You're looking at the hottest month in Florida's year. In orlando, I would expect to see temps in to 100s. The humidity will be dropping in Aug, but not by much. I really can't say how you'd fare - some people do TERRIBLE in the humidity - Crunchy and I do GREAT in it. In fact, we're just DYING for the humidity to kick in!!

Hurricane season starts June 1st, and ends November 30th. So yes, hurricane season. If you book a hotel, and just before your date to arrive, orlando gets hit, you won't be locked into your stay, don't worry about that. If you get there, and a hurricane is on the way, they will help you evacuate and refund the rest of your stay - the only way you would be stuck STAYING there through a hurricane, is if you VOLUNTARILY stayed.

Your best bet for Disney is to stay on the resort itself, it seems pricey, but the PERKS - OH THE PERKS!!! LOL Look prices up online, and then call the resort directly - it varies on who has the better price. Be weary of pre-paid trips, they are NON REFUNDABLE and boy do they mean it!!!!!!

Anything else???? Kellsaymommy,
What we really need to know is are you a cubs fan or a sox fan.
Uh oh no more fighting.............Just kidding.  Maybe Illinois has a high rate of RA.
CUBS fan all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yea!!!!!!! GO CUBS my family are all DIE HARD Cubs fans LOL and my dads side are Die hard Indians fans so its a good day when the cubs win, the sox LOSE and the indians win LOL

Hey, what are talkin' about, it's a good day when the Sox lose???  Not around these parts it isn't!

But I'm referring to the fellers in the red sox, not the white ones!

OMG I remember a couple of years ago I was driving into Chicago by myself to visit my daughter.  It had been a long trip from CT and I was a bit tense dealing with the rush hour traffic and construction coming into the city.  Just as I got directly across from the stadium where the White Sox play, someone must have hit a home run and the sky exploded with fireworks.  I almost wet myself it scared me so bad, LOL!  I thought I was under attack!

Hillhoney39183.3656365741ohh please please dont tell me your a Sox fan  PLEASE!!   OHH i feel better now that your not a WHITE SOX fan lol   yea driving down by whatever the name of that park where the sox play can be pretty dangerous lolkelsaysmommy39183.3665740741

My Hubbie would LOVE you guys. I used to work with Steve Bartman the fan that caused them to lose the playoff game a few years ago. All the news stations were at The office building the next day. Poor guy!!! It was crazy!!! It is a huge global company, so I didn't know him personally.

Karen

I think the white sox should move to a different city...we dont need em

Now i want to go to a cubs game.  My uncle is a tkt broker and i havent had the money to buy tkts from him in a while :(

BREWERS!!!!

I am a cubs fan and another Illinoinian (??) Is that right. I live in central IL between Springfield & Decatur. We had storms last night and my body is killing. The humidity is awful on my ra! I have 2 sisters in Fl and a few aunts. Can't stand the heat or the humidity before ra can't imagine going there now.

One good thing about being disabled at Disney world is you get a separate entrance (at least used to when we went years ago). We took our mom in a wheelchair and there was no waiting in lines. They took us right in. It was awesome! We stayed on the resort at the Magnolia plantation type hotel. It was beautiful!m

One more thing about going to Disneyworld... Everyday at 2:00, expect a 20 min. thunderstorm, pretty much like clockwork. When we lived there we had season passes to all the parks, and when it started raining, everyone would go running for the gates and we would just be arriving, lol. A few times we pretty much had the parks to ourselves - just throw on a poncho. People would stop us to ask how we knew, we'd tell them to wait it out and not leave, lol.

The only time it rained non-stop was when we took the kids to Wet and Wild. Because of the lightning, they shut down all the rides and wouldnt you know it, the rain did not stop that day and they would not refund our money...0 down the drain...... I was so pissed!

This is what it looks like right now off of my balcony.

It started earlier by you guys than by me. This crud is coming up from the south. I will get my share considering I am 2 miles from Lake Michigan lol.  You are more on the line of freezing rain/snow.  I am all snow.  But even so...snow in April...the middle of April...is just wrong in so many ways.yea there should be a law against that ...snow sucks even in December lol

Ok... I would first like to state, I am sorry.

My forcast for today is 72 degrees with a chance of rain and low of 43.

Tomorrow nice and sunny Hi 74 and Lo 43 and continuing until friday and then staurday 70 something and chance of rain again.

I am doing better today. I guess it was the front moving in and the change in temps and humidity in less than a day that was messing with me. PLUS I have not took Humira for almost a month now again. Darn infections and waiting to see it has cleared up.

Oh well, sorry ya'll are doing so bad. I know how it goes.

Ok anyone that is having warm nice weather is not allowed to post LMAO jk

Liz, in spite of the snow flying in the picture, I gotta say I am amazed at how green things are there.  My grass is dead and brown still, with only a little green beginning to peak through.

They just gave the temps. for the first ten days of April here, vs. the first ten days of January.  January's average temp was 42, and April's has been 38!  It's just plain weird!

El Nino *IS* back, actually - and much earlier this year than usual. This is why I'm actually slightly nervous about the hurricane forcast. The earlier El Nino, the worse the hurricanes. *sigh*

My son andhis family live FL. I hate those Hurricanes. When my DIL was 8 months Pregnant, they lost part of their house. UGH!! It was a tough time

Karen

Mmhmm I'm kinda nervous. My kitchen floods, as our apartment complex sits riiiiggghhhttt on a creek. And I'm the first floor. Goodie!

Liz, after seeing that pic, I'm moving to WI! YOUR STREET IS BEAUTIFUL!! Floridian's cant' keep sh*t clean, apparently. I *HATE* my street!!1 Everyone feels the need to be so TRASHY! UGH!

maybe its you Katie??

OR OR EVEN BETTER!! I'm not the one who lets my children run around in diapers, and whos kids take the diapers off and LEAVE THEM IN THE DRIVEWAY FOR DAYS >.<

ARGH!

whooow chicka Im kidding

I want to move up north now. I just have to convince Justin. I think I've finally snapped! I LOVE my warm weather, but ya know...if it's cold out, I have an excuse to stay inside........and I like that too. Haha

yes theres many good reasons to live up north...Lets think of some shall we??

To be continued....

My city is super picky about having clean streets and parks etc.  Our neighborhood's street lamps look like the old fashioned gas lamp ones.  We have this awesome park right on the lakefront where the fireworks are done every year too.  The park has a nice pool with a really cool waterslide etc.  I love the town I live in.  Close enuf to Milwaukee for all the good stuff but far enuf out to avoid the bad stuff.  I was up in the UP about a week ago while I was there 2 ft of snow came down and more after we left they now have over 45 inches of fresh snow in Marquette, people are heading up there so they can get one more time on the snowmobiles.  I was in Detroit today, Mom had her aorta valve replaced, as soon as I knew she was alright I had to leave for home immediately, we  have a winter storm warning out and I had to be home for work tomorrow, i drove into the first storm ,but made it home okay, the second storm is starting now and the temps are dropping.  In Mi you have to be use to it, it can snow in July in the UP and that is no lie here.  I just have a feeling old man winter is not going to let spring showers come this year.  meme

We had SLEET two days ago. And it was 30 out. THIRTY. IN FLORIDA. IN APRIL.

Sheesh.

When I was in 5th grade a long long long long long long long long time ago.....I lived in Lake Butler Fl about 20 miles from Gainesville and it snowed just enough to cover the ground. School was let out early, people were crashing their cars, and people were freakin' out! lol

I thought it sucked cuz' we just moved from IL to get away from snow. Must have followed us.......lol
