Ha Ha . Just a question. Is it legal for medical use in Canada. When I
was in Vancouver, Everyone was smoking it at the sidewalk cafe's but it
looked like they all had it cupped in their hands as if they didnt want
anyone to see it. Funny, cause you sure could smell it.
Also, if you use it does it help when you are having a flare?
Yeah, I live in Vancouver so I know the scenario. People also smoke it
in concert halls even though there's supposed to be no smoking indoors.
It's legal for some people although I don't have a prescription. If you
have one you can buy it and goodies made from it from the Compassion
Club. It's not exactly legal to have it or use it but the police are
pretty upfront about how they don't want to harrass people who have it
for "personal use". I have grown marijuana plants on my apartment patio
and no one cared. So yeah, people are pretty relaxed about it around
here. It's a great drug and it grows out of the ground!
It helps with a lot of conditions such as nasuea, glaucoma, insomnia,
headaches and a range of other things. I don't know if it helps for
flares because I use it pretty much daily so I've never been in a flare
without it! I can tell you it does blunt the agony of an mtx hangover,
though.
Hereis a report on a study about Marijuana and it's beneficial effects on
RA symptoms
I'm no my laptop and it's links never work on this forum, so you'll have to
cut and paste. Here's the url:

An exerpt states: "The researchers found that in comparison with the
placebo, patients who had taken the CBM (marijuana) had statistically
significant improvements in pain on movement, pain at rest, quality of
sleep, inflammation (measured by a Disease Activity Score involving 28
joints - DAS 28) and intensity of pain (measured by the Short-Form McGill
Pain Questionnaire SF-MPQ). "
I thought Vancouver was such a lovely international city. So many young
people from all over the world. I almost felt like I was back in the
60's.
Great sites and restauants. Stanly Park is beautiful.
Yes. I love it here! The only problem is so do a lot of other people so it's getting kind of crowded and expensive.
