Hi,
Has anyone moved forward their MTX injection date? I'm currently taking my MTX on Friday nights and would like to change it to Thursday nights. I'd thought I could move it over two weeks by taking it Friday a.m. one week, then Thursday night the next, but would prefer to just go straight to Thursday nights.
Anyone with thoughts or experience with this?

I changed my Mtx date by just doing it the day before...I wanted to take both my humira and the Mtx on the same day but when i first started mtx it was tues. and i take humira on friday and i just moved it a day earlier every week till friday...
Yeah, I take the pills, but on occations when I need my schedule to be a little difference I'll do it. One day either way won't make much difference.
I change my date to meet my convenience. Sometimes it can be a 3 or 4 day difference and it does not seem to affect my body at all. I have on occasion stretched it out to 2 weeks. Not sure this would work with everyone, but it works with me. I've changed my days too. I called the pharmacist for advice and they said a couple days one way or the other shouldn't make much difference, and it didn't. I have changed my mtx day to match my schedule before. I agree that a couple of days either way does not make a difference. I take oral mtx, but I have switched my Enbrel injections back and forth between Thursday, Friday and Saturday (not more than a 24-hour switch each time) and it's been fine.Great ... thanks everyone!
