Hopefully that link will work----sometimes on my laptop they don't for
some reason. You may have to cut and paste.

For those that haven't read The New Arthritis Breakthrough, that is pretty
much what Dr Brown and other infectious theory proponenets have been
saying for years, and indeed, is the theorectical basis for the whole AP
treatment.

So I'm glad the two schools of thought are merging (however accidentally
and unwilling). Now maybe we can get somewhere towards a cure!Gimpy-a-gogo39185.4863773148That was really interesting reading and if a cure is any closer to being found then I am open minded. That research is not really new at all. It is from 1/11/2006. It is just part of the research that U of M is doing concerning RA. This is another part.

Sarahclarky1439185.5729513889 Hmmm very interesting.  hi all, my rheumy says she is introducing sulfasalazine now along with the mtx because it has antibacterial qualities.   is this anything to do with this?   anna_uk Could be...interestingly, plaquenil also has antimicrobial qualities. Although
in one study, doxyciline was shown to be twice as effective as plaquenil
when combined with mtx. Since adding minocin to my mtx and plaquenil I've
been steadily feeling even better!
