I am so excited. I sent an email to a support group offering to be a phone volunteer and tonight i recieved a phone call from a wonderful lady who is the founder of this support group. They have no volunteer places left but they come now and then.BUT..............i am invited to the next meeting and she gave me some wonderful advice on different things. She also gave me a great website about treatment and health authorities and stuff i am entitled to. www.nras.co.uk
She said to call her if i ever need to chat about anything or if if im feeling a bit down she can pop out to see me. AW it was so nice to know there is someone who is close by.

I know that its got a lot to do with RA awareness and making the government sit and and take notice of what RA is all about....................maybe theres hope

That is good! I hope the meeting will help shed some light. We need to find something here in the States like what Pinnie is doing. Maybe contact our local chapters of the Arthritis Foundation? I would love to start something like that in my area. Oh yes, and the ribbons are going to be started on Sunday! Saturday is my down day from my mtx shot so all I will really be able to do is get the materials for them. I am finally past my cold and weather flares and I can get moving on these! YAY!!! I think that is a wonderful opportunity and that you would be marvelous at doing it. I'd like to do something like that eventually.
