Dear folks, My friend lost her husband not to long ago and has enjoyed traveling with friends and stopping along the way to visit other 'old' friends, she brings along one of her grandchildren to meet us (she's a highschool buddy). It is such fun for everyone and I think makes us all think about connecting with 'extended' family and close friends. We live on the coast of california so this is a particularly interesting place to visit, the birds, the sea life (baby otters on the Mom's stomach), plenty of hiking trails, BBQs at home and just good company. It is inexpensive as we all pitch in with food and all.
