OH BOY!! I have been doing ok but last night i was awake forever with pains in my in every joint on my left side of my body ( esp. my knee), my right side felt great. I eventually fell asleep for half an hour and when i woke my left knee has 2 big dents in it .

Sure hope you're feeling better soon Pin.

Sorry Lisa.  Yes my left side sometimes is the only pain and if both sides hurt the left is always worse.  Are you left handed?  I am so I was just curious.

Dear pin, When I was going through my worst time, my left knee was a real bother, when I got to drive the car I thought it was because I was getting out on that side and putting my knee down, but now with the increased MTX to 15, and still on prednisone & remicade I don't have that particular 'hurting place'. Yesterday, I was hoping to to down in the pred, but hands and feet were too stiff, so went back up?! What a mystery this all is. I see my doc on Thurs, so maybe he'll give me more remicade. (I was exposed to a woman with a respretory noise in her chest! Ugh.....dang), so I quickly took my weekly MTX , in case I get sick. Every time we try to get 'bettr' something gets in our way. Ice might help the knee in the short term, it did mine. So far I don't have pain, but till stiffness comes back?

Good luck with all this.....Sarah

My left side always gives me more issues than my right.  My left knee is bad...my toes that don't move are on my left foot.  My left hand swells more than my right.  But then again...that is the side I lay on most of the time.  So who knows.

The dents in your knee are probably from fluid and inflammation there.

I am left handed..........never thought of that. I see the swelling from the fluid now, it wasnt there earlier just a hole where my knee used to be.

Sorry to hear you didnt have a good night Lovie, hoping its a better one tonight. Yay another leftie!  Hubby is a leftie...my dad was a leftie...and Danielle is ambitextrous.  Left handed people are the only ones in their right frame of mind is what hubby just yelled at me lol.

When I was a kid my left side was affected by my JRA more than my right side. I am right handed. Right now, it seems my right side is more affected than my left side. I am weird I guess.

I am sorry you got so much pain, and that it actually woke you up. I have had nights like that. Hang in there

Huggs
