I went to the rhemmy Friday...they say my inflamation markers are down and that they dont want to mess with the medications. She has indicated that I have osteo too and now the RA has caused carpel tunnel so we did spllints...she has also ordered an increase in the muscle relaxer as the muscles in my back and neck etc are really messed up.....she gave me some licodyn (sp) for the knees bakers cysts...whats going on ??????? Any ideas. I have read some of the terrible things some of you have and are going through and this is minor just wanted any ideas THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS
I've had cotisone shots in the past that totally relieved the pain from baker cyst behind my knees. Don't know if that helps at all....but if you have continued problems; you might want to mention the idea to your doctor.

What is going on is that you have RA!!!! This is the nature of the beast! It is a progressive disease. Also it affects other organs and muscles and tendons and ligaments in our bodies.
I agree with Lovie with the cortisone injections for the Bakers Cysts. It will prolly do you you some good and you should get relief from them.
Thanks to Lovie and grammaskittles....I guess grammaskittles that is what I am afraid of.....They offered the cortisone shots but I hesitated if not any better by next month I will have them...Hope this finds both of you doing ok...God Bless
