I am taking my daughter and a little friend of hers ice skating tomorrow morning.
My pain management Dr said it would be good for me to go (lol), and my daughter has been BEGGING me ever since she found my skates in my closet last Sept.
Soooo, we're going to go!
Now I need to find the camera charger! I even have a little skirt for her, complete with a sweater with an ice skate on it!!!! Now if only I still had tiny skates for her!!
lol. I wonder if I'll be laughing tomorrow night???? hahahaha
LMAO What's the plan for the baby??? Is he gonna "skate" too???? omg I'd want pictures of that............hahaha matter of fact, take pics ANYWAY!!
dear Midge, Meeee tooo, I want to see pictures of the 'big skate', you aren't crazy just hold on to the edge! (just kidding), you will have a great time and we will all be rooooting for you. Kids are so wonderful, they get us out with them to tdo the fun things....my granddaughter was the best. She had us swinging, skating, hitting her tennis balls, playing dodge ball and soccer!! My gosh that brings back memories. Our grandsons had us riding motorcycles with them, going to races, playing baseball for hours in the back yard. So, you can't sit with kids around.

I will not give in, Midge... my daughter got a taste of ice skating with her friend and she asked if me and hubby would take her again. And I keep having to tell her no.

I'll upload the pics later this evening and post them. I need to make it a point to go by MYSELF Like once a month. I'm paying for it tonight, but it's such freedon out there, to be flying. I miss it.
I ran into some of the coaches I used to assist, and they were like "where have you BEEN?!", then saw the two kids. hahahaha. They wanted to know when I was coming back to teach. HAHAHAHAHA. Sure....let me think, um, NEVER?? lol
The baby was in his stroller at the side of the ice...he was pretty good, we were out there for 1 and a half hours!! I didn't think the girls would last that long!!!
