Took pred pak and feeling much better. So my question is, how long does this good feeling last?Of course, I am also wide awake in the middle of the night!!!!
Hard to say how long that pred pack will last because it is so individual to the person. I get about 8 weeks of relief, but that is also combined with mtx injections weekly and humira every 2 weeks.
I am glad to hear you are feeling better! Yeah the downside of pred packs...insomnia!!! If that keeps up, maybe call your doc for something to help you sleep or call and see if you can take Melatonin which is a natural sleep aid.
Thank you so much for your valued information.For me, I start to get some symptoms back like mild swelling, stiffness, and pain back 2 days before I am done with the pak. I do not have all symptoms back for maybe a month. It kinda alternates on the swelling and stiffness and pain on some days. Like my fingers will not be swelled and look normal, but I will have a swelled knee and it not bend straight. Then the next day, my knee will not be as swelled and bend slightly more than the day before, but my fingers will be swelled.
It is weird. I like the dose paks, but they just do not last me long. I think it is from my regular pred usage.
