When you have a flare in a joint or two, how long do you wait until you call the RD for a steroid shot?depends on how bad it is and how its affecting my functioning. so for me there is really no definitive answer each time depends on the situation
Maybe a day or two to get a feel for if I can cope by upping meds I have at home and if it's going to last. I am lucky I can call the biologics Nurse specialist at the clinic and she knows me well so we have a chat and decide wether I need cortisone into a joint or a depo-medrone im injection (I get costochondritis and the im injection works best for that).
