Welcome!
youre right sula, i have got some really useful advice from this sight. and everyone knows how you feel
was just wondering how does humidity affect ra. i know with my pa it feels like a ton of weight has been put on the joints. today is pretty good . very mild dry weather. but my sacroilliacs are a b--ch. i have to stand to be at computer. then my knees start to bad. a viscious circle hey.
humidity makes me stiff, and hurt, but the remicade is really working for me. But I am now having inflamation in other parts of my body other than my joints. GI track and my veins have gotten smaller and are hard for the nurses to start ivs on me and they tell me this is also due to my RA.
hi there, i am only new to this also. i have psoriatic arthritis which is also an auto imune disease like ra. both are treated very simular i think. i take arava at the moment and tramadol for the pain as well as other med for other complaints. i did take methotrexate but it didnt agree with me at all and caused liver problems.
I am taking remicade infusion and so far so good. I also take mtx.

Howdy Forgiven!Mmmmm pool boys. Please make mine a blonde. Thanks. LOL!!!
We would also need our own private pharmacy where the government pays the entire cost for whatever meds we need.
I have awesome...beyond awesome docs. I will bring them with me.
Oh yeah and don't forget the massage therapists and the private chefs with a 24 hour kitchen for us pred junkies lol.
