My new Grandbaby is here. | Arthritis Information

 

Ava was born April 18th 7.7 lbs and 19 1/2" long. She is a healthy baby.
And I am already falling in love with her. This is my first Grandma experience.  I went to Hobby Lobby and loaded up on all the scrapbooking picture album stuff and am ready with my camera.

She's adorable!!  Oh you must be so excited right now!  I love the name Ava...my daughter and I were just talking about names the other day and Ava was one that we both liked. 

I have to wait until November for my grandbaby...gonna be a long wait for me!

Congratulations Gramma

She is adorable.  It's amazing how instantaneously we fall in love with them; just like they were our children.  Enjoy that precious bundle, they grow soooo fast.. my oldest granddaughter is already 4 yrs. and her sister was one last month.. you're gonna love being a gramma.

 

Congratulations! She is beautiful and precious. You have been blessed. Its great your prepared to scrapbook, because I have a feeling you will get lots of pictures. They change so much, so fast, and you will want to capture it all. I took so many photos of my daughter who now ten, but I did'nt {wasn't} organized, and now they are in boxes, I keep telling myself someday I'll scapbook them. You are ahead of the ballgame. Those will be precious memories. Again she is so beautiful, and those eyes wide open!

Welcome to the "Land of Grandma"!  There's only one word with as much meaning and that is "Mommy."

Ava is totally precious and because I can see her "halo peeking out from beneath her blankie" it's quite clear to see she's "PERFECT In Every Way."

Like all grandparents we probably have more pictures of our grand babies than of our children as they grew up.  In addition to the countless pictures I have a journal for each of them to give to them when they graduate from high school.  If I'm not here to see them graduate the family will be sure each grandchild gets their journal. {The journals I kept for each of my children means more to them than their baby books.}

Being a gramma is the best!!!!!!  We get to do all the fun stuff!!!  I call my granddaughter my never do anything wrong ever perfect angel girl.  To which her mother says...HA!  Remember the three S's!!!  Spoil, Sugar, Send home!!!! 

I dont have any grandchildren yet but i have a two year old godson , his grandmother is my best friend and she lives quite far from her little grandson so i help her daughter out when she cant. Her daughter Emma is being induced tomorrow with her second baby ( a little girl) so I have my godson tomorrow morning and possibly tomorrow night.

I cant wait, he is a cute little thing and loves my kids, so my house is going to be manic tomorrow.Welcome to the world little Ava.The baby came home from the hospital today and I spent the afternoon at my son and daughter in laws house. Now I think my brains have turned to mush and I will never be able to think straight again.
