We are thinking of doing the overnight trip this summer on the Lake Express as a get away from the kids.I seems like that would be a nice break. It's hard to find things to do that don't require a lot of driving. Where does it go? You must be younger-we think a "break" is to have our kids come home!!

LOL....we are 38 (I'm 3 months shy of 39 today) and 43. We have one kid not at home and 2 left to go to get out lol. The girls at home are 12 and 15. I cant remember where the Lake Express goes to. All I know is we need a break!! We won't do it til this summer when I hopefully feel well enuf to enjoy it. They have all sorts of things to do on the Michigan we want to do. There is sand duning...tubing....lots of stuff.We live in the Smoky Mountains, and Spring has sprung. Everything is green and the flowers are blooming. The squirrels are happy, and the air is warm. Its my favorite season...everything is coming to life! Maybe one day I'll visit Michigan.

My hubby and I are both 45 and we have two in college so they will be home for the summer. We are planning a long weekend away with just the two of us in July. We figure we will need a break by then! I am hoping I feel better by then too. We are going to a jazz festival and there will be lots of walking and standing at the outdoor concerts. I live near Grand Haven and I am wondering if the lake express was one of the boats that came here. Its a nice resort town.
