hi, i was wondering how you guys who are on prednisone on a daily basis manage to not get osteoporosis. i have been on many high dose short bouts of prednisone in the past for asthma and now i have osteoporosis in my lower spine. i have been taking caltrate now for 3 years but my bone density continues to deteriorate even though i am no longer on prednisone.
