Discount Prescription Cards | Arthritis Information

Has anyone used those discount prescription cards?  I'm in a financial bind and due for meds that are expensive with my insurance co-pay.  Do these cards work with co-pays on insurance?  Do they discount my co-pay or just the med itself?  I'm so confused with this stuff.

I do not qualify for Humira's assistance program (I have insurance and Danny makes entirely too much money but how come I am broke this month lol).  Altho my doc gave me a card from Abbot when I first started on it that covered 300 bucks of my copays.  Wonder if I explained to him I'm in a bind this month if I can get another card like that.  Worth a shot.

Gramma,

Sorry, I know NOTHING about those cards.  I say try your dr again, maybe he has another card to offer.  Anything is worth a shot.

Phats

Yea id say try talking to your dr.  He sounds like a great understanding person so maybe he'll help with this too. Good luck hun!I don't know about Humira but Enbrel will allow you to get a new card to help with co-pays every 6 months, all you have to do is call and re-enroll. Good luck,
If your dr can't help, try your local church for assistance. They should be more than happy to help. Hope you feel better soon!
