What color do you think of when you think or talk of RA?
We need a quiant little ribbon like all other diseases. We just need to come up with a color for our disease.
I want to say the Arthritis Foundation has a blue wrist band.

RED!!!!dark blue is the arthritis awareness colorThe site I've seen for awareness ribbons shows purple and blue.I say multi coloured because of the multi-faceted problems we face with it!!!!!! Janie. In NZ our Arthritis Assn uses an orange for it's symbol. And the magazine is called "The Juice", so I guess our colour is orange! They run an annual fundraising raffle, and the prize is a lovely orange car. This year is a beaut little Peugot, only 55,000 tickets nationwide (well, we are a tiny dot on the world map)!! So maybe I will be the proud owner of a bright orange new car next month. Fingers crossed. Grayhi joonie. i just came off of four night shifts, uggg. but I'm seeing red. iDoes the arthritis foundation have a ribbon especially for RA? Or is it to represent all types of arthritis?
I was going to look into making one for everyone to use. I have the softwear to make one, I just need to find the gumption to make one.
I was thinking grey, or blue grey
But wanted to know what everyone elses thought on it was.
My first thought was red but I love reds, also bright red is the AIDS awareness ribbon. Then I thought about how my feet and knees are today and thought 'grey and spikey with a dash of murky washed out red - a sort of w(h)ine (lol) colour.
How about stars? On the one hand a starburst represents the sudden burst of pain that we can (and do!) wake up with of a morning on the other, we're all stars for putting up with this spiteful disease.
Tinker's color w(h)ine has my vote.you get a blue hat at the arthritis walk if you have arthritis
I always thought of Ra like a really fuzzy white... odd huh? ...as in the white fuzz on the tv when you are not quite on a tv station, or a white out storm of freezing cold and painfully bitter winters, like the white sound on a radio station.
It reminds me of that scary movie, Poltergeist ..or however it is spelled ...when that little girl cries "oh no, not again" when she sees the white fuzzy station...
We do need a wrist band and a pin... I am all for that.......where do I sign up?
