Today hubby uncovered the pool. *rolls eyes*
So, that means the upkeep of the pool has begun.
I have looked in a pool supply book to see how much a solar blanket would cost for the pool, but it is like 0.
But there is this quaint "pill" you put in your skimmer and it creates an invisible "blanket" on the top of the water and retains the heat from the sun in the water, but I am not sure if it will make the pool as warm as I need it.
I mean I do not want to make the pool 95 degrees for just me and everyone else think it is too hot to be in, especially since we get really humid days around here which is worse than heat. Need a place to cool off not to stew in
I will take a picture of the pool once MIL & hubby get the pool straightened out. This year no dead snakes, squirrels, chipmunks, or anything else. I guess the pool cover was doing its job this year. I also remember Dad doing something with grass clippings for the water pipes to run through so the water would stay tepid. Unfortunately, he's gone to Heaven now, so maybe he'll send me a dream
